I årene 2016-2019 var der ett samarbeid mellom klubbene Indre Kåfjord IL og Manndalen UIL for å ha ett seniorlag i fotball i Kåfjord Kommune.

2020 sesongen utgikk helt grunnet corona-restriksjoner. 

Fra oppstart våren 2021, så var det en enighet mellom klubbene å avslutte samarbeidet og at Indre Kåfjord alene skulle drive seniorfotballen i Kåfjord, noe klubben har gjort i de 5 årene siden.

Tilbudet for våre seniorspillere har alltid vært det samme siden og vi ønsker være ett lag for hele Kåfjord og ha en tropp bestående hovedsakelig av Kåfjordinger og spillere fra Nord Troms.

Indre Kåfjord og Manndalen har alltid videre hatt ett godt samarbeid, naboskap og en god tone rundt å hjelpe hverandre rundt aldersbestemt fotball.

Vi har jevnlig siden 2021 prøvd å endre navnet på facebooksiden vår fra "Indre Kåfjord-Manndalen Fotball", til noe mer representativt for hva vi er i dag, som "Indre Kåfjord Alag", "Kåfjord Alag" eller "Indre Kåfjord Fotball".

Facebook har imidlertid ikke ville godtatt dette.

Den siste tiden har vi klart å komme i kontakt med kundeservice hos Facebook og dem vil forhåpentligvis godta denne offisielle oppdateringen, for navneskifte på vår facebookside side, som vi har bygget opp over 10 år.

In the years 2016-2019, there was a collaboration between the clubs Indre Kåfjord IL and Manndalen UIL to have one senior football team in Kåfjord Municipality.

The 2020 season was cancelled entirely due to corona restrictions.

From the start in the spring of 2021, there was an agreement between the clubs to end the collaboration and that Indre Kåfjord alone would run senior football in Kåfjord, which the club has done for the 5 years since.

The offer for our senior players has always been the same since and we want to be one team for all of Kåfjord and have a squad consisting mainly of Kåfjorders and players from Nord Troms.

Indre Kåfjord and Manndalen have always had a good collaboration, neighborliness and a good tone around helping each other with age-specific football.

We have regularly since 2021 tried to change the name of our Facebook page from "Indre Kåfjord-Manndalen Fotball", to something more representative of what we are today, such as "Indre Kåfjord Alag", "Kåfjord Alag" or "Indre Kåfjord Fotball".

However, Facebook has not accepted this.

Recently we have managed to get in touch with Fa customer service and they will hopefully accept this official update, for a name change on our Facebook page, which we have built up over 10 years.
